Use the free self-paced course material on Microsoft Learn. PL-400 registration closes October 16, 2026; candidates registered by that date can sit the exam through October 30. Use our PL-400 Exam Practice Test to review its skills, which are measured through October 15. New candidates should prepare for Microsoft's AB-400 exam and AB-400T00 course.

Depending on the exam, a trial licence could include demo data to practise with, but this is not guaranteed and Microsoft often changes its policies about free trials with demo data.
